Feu Sacré is a spectacular variety production created to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Montreal Games, featuring Robert Charlebois, Ariane Moffatt, Loud, Dubmatique, and the acrobatic troupe Les 7 Doigts. The production moves through three themes (memory, legacy, and the future) with live music, dance, and circus arts woven together. Olympic legend Nadia Comăneci will be there in person. 🛍️ Marché Central Summer Fun Festival (Every Weekend Through August 23)

Every Saturday and Sunday until August 23, the Marché Central shopping complex runs a free family program from noon to 4 p.m. with face painting, slime-making workshops, outdoor games, live entertainment, and contests. It runs outdoors in the plaza, requires zero planning, and is a natural add-on if you are already heading north for errands. The location makes it especially convenient from Laval or Ahuntsic.

⚡ SOS Labyrinthe: Rope Courses in the Old Port

SOS Labyrinthe is an adventure park inside the Old Port with rope obstacle courses set at varying heights, a climbing wall, zip lines, and a ground-level labyrinthe course for the youngest kids. The minimum age is 3, which makes it one of the few genuinely active outdoor attractions in the city that works for toddlers and older kids on the same visit. The Old Port setting means you can pair it with a picnic along the water or a walk to Bonsecours Market afterward.

🚂 Exporail: Train Heaven on the South Shore

About 40 minutes south of downtown in Saint-Constant, Exporail is the Canadian Railway Museum and the largest railway collection in the country. Kids can climb aboard historic locomotives and passenger cars, explore the extensive rolling stock on the grounds, and ride a vintage heritage streetcar on a loop through the site. The museum runs summer programming for families, and the scale of what is there tends to impress even non-train kids. Worth combining with a picnic stop at the nearby waterfront.
