The quarterfinal dust is settling. France were the first side through after a commanding 2-0 win over Morocco, and three more spots are being decided right now as Belgium face Spain and Norway and Argentina play out their respective QF ties on Saturday. By Sunday morning, the four semifinalists will be set, and Montreal will have a full week to prepare for the biggest matches left in this tournament.

The semifinals are Tuesday July 14 and Wednesday July 15, both kicking off at 3pm ET. The third-place match is Friday July 18, and the Final is Sunday July 19 at 3pm ET at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Here is where to watch them all.

🇫🇷 Semifinal 1 — Tuesday July 14, 3pm ET

France face the winner of Belgium vs Spain at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Whether it is Mbappé against De Bruyne or a France-Spain classic, this is the pick of the two semis. A weekday afternoon kickoff means bars fill fast after lunch. Get there 30 minutes early if you want a seat.

📍 Where: Time Out Market Montreal, 500 rue Ste-Catherine Ouest (Downtown). Big central screens, a relaxed mixed crowd, and plenty of food and drink on site. No cover charge.
🗓️ When: Tuesday July 14, 3pm ET

Also worth considering: La Cage (Quartier des Spectacles, Ste-Catherine) has multiple screens and a proper sports bar setup. Arrive by 2pm to guarantee a spot.

⚡ Semifinal 2 — Wednesday July 15, 3pm ET

The second semi pairs the Norway/England winner with the Argentina/Switzerland winner at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. If Haaland’s Norway face Messi’s Argentina in the final four, the atmosphere in any Montreal soccer bar will be something special. Wednesday at 3pm tends to be calmer than Saturday QFs, so you can actually get in the door.

📍 Where: Burgundy Lion, 2496 Notre-Dame Ouest (Little Burgundy). Montreal’s most reliable soccer pub, always showing every match, always with the right crowd.
🗓️ When: Wednesday July 15, 3pm ET

Argentina contingency: if Messi’s side come through, Bocadillo Bistro (4427 boul. St-Laurent, Mile End) turns into an unofficial Argentine HQ. Expect flags, chanting, and zero spare seats. Worth it.

🥉 Third Place Match — Friday July 18, 3pm ET

The consolation final is in Miami on a Friday afternoon. A relaxed match with nothing riding on it except national pride, which somehow makes it more entertaining. Perfect Friday afternoon option before the weekend build-up to the Final.

📍 Where: Champs Sports Bar, 3956 rue St-Denis (Plateau)
🗓️ When: Friday July 18, 3pm ET

🏆 The Final — Sunday July 19, 3pm ET

MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey. The 2026 World Cup winner is crowned. This is the one. Montreal’s soccer bars will be packed well before kickoff, so plan to arrive by 2pm or earlier for any of the spots below.

For a different experience, Cineplex Forum (977 rue Ste-Catherine Ouest) has screened major World Cup matches on a full cinema screen with stadium-quality sound. Check their listings at cineplex.com. If they are running the Final, it is one of the best non-travel ways to experience the occasion.

📍 Where: Cineplex Forum, 977 rue Ste-Catherine Ouest, for big-screen cinema sound. Also: Time Out Market (free, no reservation needed), Burgundy Lion (reserve ahead if France are in it), Bocadillo Bistro (if Argentina advance, you will feel it from outside).
🗓️ When: Sunday July 19, 3pm ET
