🎤 Loto-Québec Stage: Free Outdoor Shows Every Night

The festival’s main stage anchors the corner of Saint-Catherine Est and Papineau and lights up every evening at 7 p.m. with a rotation of more than 150 local and visiting artists spanning pop, house, drag cabaret, and live hip-hop. Sainte-Catherine Est is closed to traffic between Amherst and Papineau, turning the whole strip into a pedestrian-only party zone with string lights, outdoor seating spilling onto the street, and a constant soundtrack from every direction. Drag shows pop up at multiple venues throughout the night, ranging from polished cabaret rooms to casual bar stages where you just walk in. The festival closes with the Défilé de la Fierté on Sunday, August 9, one of the largest Pride parades in Canada. Tens of thousands of participants, floats, community organizations, and performers march down René-Lévesque Boulevard under the 2026 theme “Shine Together.” This year marks the festival’s 20th anniversary, so the production will be especially strong.
