July in Montreal doesn’t hold back. This week brings a landmark moment for women’s basketball, world-class canoe racing on an Olympic course, and a free Caribbean party in the Old Port. Here’s what to add to your calendar.

🏀 Toronto Tempo vs Dallas Wings

The Toronto Tempo makes history at Bell Centre on Thursday night. Game 1 of their back-to-back Montreal homestand pits them against the Dallas Wings, and the crowd they’re expecting could set a new WNBA single-game attendance record in Canada. The Tempo have been drawing some of the biggest crowds in the league this season, and this is their first extended run in Montreal.
