The first week and a half of November is made for couples. Early dark, a few flakes in the forecast, and a calendar full of concerts, theatre and one very cozy market opening. Here are seven ways to turn a regular evening into a proper date. None of them repeat our earlier date night picks, and we left out the Halloween and restaurant festival ideas we already covered. Confirm times and tickets with each venue before you go.

🎶 Ólafur Arnalds at Théâtre St-Denis

📍 Where: Théâtre St-Denis, 1594 rue Saint-Denis, Quartier latin, Montreal
🗓️ When: Friday, November 6, 8 PM (tickets from about $41; one listing shows Nov 7, so check your ticket)

The Icelandic composer blends piano, strings and electronics into music that is made for sitting close and not saying much. It is quiet, cinematic and a little emotional, which is exactly the point.

🎻 Vivaldi to Dompierre with Orchestre FILMharmonique

📍 Where: Maison symphonique, Place des Arts, 175 Sainte-Catherine Street West, Downtown Montreal
🗓️ When: Saturday, November 7, 2 PM (tickets from about $57)

A Saturday matinee leaves your evening free for dinner afterwards. The program pairs Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with film-flavoured works, so it feels like a concert and a movie night in one.

🎭 Holiday in Zürich at Centaur Theatre

📍 Where: Centaur Theatre, Old Montreal (about 10 minutes from most downtown metro stops)
🗓️ When: November 4 to 22, 2026 (confirm showtimes with the box office)

Centaur’s English-language stage is a solid pick if you want a date with conversation built in. Grab a drink in the Old Port first, then argue about the ending over a late bite.

🎼 Festival International Bach Montréal

📍 Where: Various concert venues across Montreal (check the festival schedule for each concert)
🗓️ When: November 4 to 9, 2026 (more than 30 concerts)

With so many shows packed into one week, you can pick a short church recital or a full evening concert depending on your mood. Baroque music and candlelight make an easy first or fifteenth date.

🎸 Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes at MTELUS

📍 Where: MTELUS, 59 Sainte-Catherine Street East, Quartier des spectacles, Montreal
🗓️ When: Saturday, November 14, 2026 (check doors and ticket prices with MTELUS)

Rumba flamenca, big guitars and a crowd that actually dances. If your idea of a date involves moving a little, this is the one. Wear shoes you can spin in.

🎄 The Great Christmas Market Opens

📍 Where: Place des Festivals, Quartier des spectacles, Downtown Montreal
🗓️ When: Opens Friday, November 13 and runs through the holidays

Wooden chalets, string lights and hot drinks in the cold. It is early for Christmas, but opening weekend is quieter than December, so you can wander without the crush.

🧖 A Floating Spa Evening at Bota Bota

📍 Where: Bota Bota, spa-sur-l’eau, Old Port of Montreal (moored on the St. Lawrence River)
🗓️ When: Open year round; book ahead for a weekend slot

A spa built on a converted ferry, with outdoor pools and river views that look best when it is cold out. Hot water in November is the whole appeal. Reserve your time slot early, since weekends fill up.
